Ohisashiburi (Read ‘Long time no see’). Anyway, I’m not here to teach you Japanese.
I’m writing this just to get rid of the guilt of not being regular on this blog (By which I mean Fuzakeruna.com)
Last night I wrote a short 日記 (post) on mixi. Am just gonna translate it to English.

Hello People
● I’m finally on a holiday after 12 days of non-stop work. Actually I’m on leave. Just for the heck of it !
● Had Indian food after a while. (Yes one week is quite a ‘while’)
● Went to the local post office and got my address changed. Like Gmail, they have an auto-forward facility. So they forward all your mail to the new address for one year. Brilliant !
● Also went to the City Hall to get the address changed. The female out there asked me for my ‘Alien Card’. I find that term pretty annoying. First of all, in Japanese its called Gaikokujin Tourokusho (外国人登録書)…read Foreign Individual Registration Card ? But No, they call it ‘Alien Registration Card’. And if you remove the registration out of it, you are a certified alien in this country :-/
Also hate it when, these people involuntarily start speaking in English when then see a foreigner. When I talk to you in Japanese, how dare you reply in English?
● Also called NTT and Yahoo BB for the address change. For some reason I got the english support centre number for NTT. Felt weird speaking in English. Have never done such a thing in this country. So the next call to Yahoo BB was in 100% japanese. Made it pretty easy, except the 5 long minutes spent explaining her the 悠 kanji. I mean these kanjis can be such a pain. One kanji, many ways to read it.
● This is my last week in this dorm, so took some pictures…

● Visited my new dorm. Met the dorm manager. Pain in the ass!
He asked me, you know vineet ? I said yeah.

Says, he does not follow rules. If he continues to do so, he’ll be kicked out of the dorm.
I said Okay, I’ll talk to him. (BTW this guy haas been in Japan for 3 years ? And cant speak a word of Japanese, except words like Charunko!)
No no, he says, thats fine, I’m just warning you !
WTF!
Just coz I’m a gaijin, how can you assume that I’m ill mannered ?
Gotta teach this guy a lesson some time.

My new room is less than half the size of my present room. And to add to the pleasure its full of smelly Tatami :-/
